He is a seasoned trainer in micro entrepreneurship. Along with being a trainer in the field of entrepreneurship, his expertise also lies in the areas of achievement motivation and soft skill development. His expertise helped People’s Forum in grooming SHGs, development and leadership building. Apart from this, he has been a visiting faculty to several management institutions. He takes the overall responsibility of the Operations in AMPL.
Prior to his association with AMPL, Mr. Das has worked in designing rural clientele insurance for a large private insurance company for several years. At Annapurna he is involved in crafting the strategic decision making, innovating future growth opportunities of AMPL, besides ensuring the funds flow cycle of Annapurna remains in tact. His exceptional ability of sensing the opportunities of growth and expansion makes him the most sought after leader in Annapurna. His close and meticulous understanding of financial sector helps the company in securing many financial deals with leading FIs. Mr. Das holds a PGDFM from IIFM, Bhopal.
Mr. Sahoo heads the credit department of AMPL. His long association with Annapurna and active interest in the field, has helped the company in building highly committed team at the branches. As the company expands to other states, his role will be key in identifying right talents for field jobs as well as for in-depth/quick credit appraisal.
Mr. Painkra is an experienced professional with over 8 years of experience in Rural Sales and Distribution, Planning and Strategy. He has a commendable exposure in Micro Insurance, Micro finance, Training and Capacity Building, Relationship Management and Business Development with flair of effective team management at micro level with a rural focus. Prior to association with Annapurna, he has worked with leading financial companies like ICICI Prudential and Birla Sun Life Insurance Company Ltd. He also has hands on experience in microfinance while working with Sambandh Finserve Pvt Ltd. With his 42-member audit team, he is the key person looking after monthly audit of branches. He is also a part of appraisal committee that sanctions loan disbursements.He pursued his PGDFM from IIFM.
Mr. Hara Prasad Mishra is the Head of Human Resource Department. He looks after the manpower requirements of the company, and takes care of the HR verticals like Employee engagement, Compensation Management, Training interventions and other talent management activities at Annapurna. Mr. Mishra is an XLRI alumnus and has over a decade long experience in human resource management while working with various companies. His association with Annapurna has proven his relentless dedication to work for Annapurna and making its employees feel like a family in the company.
Mr. Subrata Pradhan has been handling the function of Company Secretary independently after taking over the role in AMPL.Mr. Pradhan’s adroitness in the aspects of Company Law, Legal and Statutory Compliances has time and again proven to be imperative in the growth of Annapurna. He has been instrumental in the journey of our company towards being one of the largest MFIs in India.
Mr. Rath has worked with several chartered firms prior to joining AMPL. With a hands-on expertise in accounts and internal control, he currently heads the accounts department of AMPL. Besides, he takes active role in Treasury Management, budgetary controls and maintaining the database of company transactions.
Mr. Vaibhav Kumar is an IIFM alumnus, and heads an important division of Institutional Finance of the company. He has an experience of over 8 years in the banking and microfinance sector. Prior to his association with the company, he had worked with SKS Microfinance and State Bank of India in various roles. Mr. Kumar’s forte in this sector makes him an expert in funds mobilisation, liaising with bankers and in investor relations.
Mr. Laxman Mohapatra leads the Treasury department of Annapurna. He has pursued Masters in Business Management in Finance. Prior to his association with the company, he has had a decade long experience in the industry, where he has worked with OSACS – Dept. of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of Odisha for several years, besides having association with People’s Forum. Mr Mohapatra has meticulously shaped the treasury department by taking several innovative steps to ease the fund transfer process. His long association with the company right from its inception has proved his exemplary devotion.
Mr. Pramod Panda is the Head of Insurance Department. He holds a Masters in Business Administration in Finance and Marketing. His years long experience in the field gives him an edge in understanding the insurance sector as well as the clients, to provide them with unparalleled services. His expertise in the insurance sector and a professional experience of 8 years in the industry makes him a key person in the business. Before joining Annapurna, Mr. Panda had worked with top Insurance companies in India like ICICI Prudential and Bajaj Allianz. He is currently looking after the clientele insurance of the company.
Mr. Ramkrishna Atre is the Head of Product Department. He holds a PGDFM from IIFM. Mr. Atre began his career with FINO Patyech, and his journey with Annapurna which started in 2013 has been synonymous with the growth of the company. He is responsible for the action research on new products, products implementation, and monitoring. His work ethics are a representation of his innovativeness and persistency that has contributed to a wide spectrum of products offered by Annapurna at present.
Mr. Arjun Pagal is the Senior Manager of Communications and Branding department. He holds a PGDMN from EDII Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Prior to his association with Annapurna, he has had over six years of experience in PR, developing communication materials and event promotional activities in the areas of Financial Inclusion, Financial Literacy, SHG Banking and Microfinance. Along with the excellent skills that he possesses, he has also demonstrated his expertise in documentation while working with a variety of organizations that supports the widening outreach of financial inclusion in the country. He is currently looking after the overall communication & branding initiatives of Annapurna.
Mr. Champatiray has been in the forefront of managing the IT vertical of Annapurna for several years. He is responsible for system installation and management across all the branches, Regional Offices and H.O.
Prior to her association with AMPL, Ms. Bandita Behera had earlier handled the similar role while working with Mahashakti Foundation. A Commerce Graduate and MBA in Finance, Ms. Behera looks after the MIS deliverables of the company. An avid IT enthusiast, her passion for data management with the increase in the state-wise operation makes her role a crucial one in the company.
Mr. Anoop TP heads the Risk Department at AMPL. He has commendable understanding in assessing the credit nature of rural clients in different geographies of India, gap analysis of policies & processes in microfinance and provides thoughtful suggestions to the management for corrective measures. Mr. TP takes avid interest in new technology implementation like that of GIS integration in credit history data to come out with a robust analysis of areas of operation as well as new approachable areas. Along with his team, he is currently looking after the risk analysis part in all of the AMPL operational states. He has pursued PGDFM from IIFM, Bhopal.
Ms. Ananya is an IIFM alumnus, who looks after the Social Performance Management initiatives of the company. Her enthusiasm towards her profession which is a resultant of her passion to work for the development sector makes her a suitable person for the cause. Her zeal to improve the lives of clients while working in the development sector, has further strengthened the Social Performance Management activities of the company. Previously she has worked with Aga Khan Rural Support Programme in Rural Development and Monitoring verticals.
Mr. Panda looks after the overall database management, IT maintenance at AMPL. With over 12 years of experience, his role will be crucial as the organization grows further and spreads its network in other under-served states in India. He holds an MBA in IT & Finance, besides doing a PGDCA and a PG Certificate in Microfinance Management.
Mr. Khuntia with a Masters in Computer Applications, has over 8 years of experience in new technology implementation, smartphone applications in the microfinance sector.Prior to this he was handling the similar roles in Dhanei KGFS, a Strategic Business Unit of IFMR Rural Channels and Services Pvt Ltd.
Mr. Manas Ranjan Pattanaik is the Chief Manager – Operation of Madhya Pradesh. Prior to his associationwith Annapurna, he has worked with BASIX and other MFIs and has learnt the glitches of the industry for over 15 years. The experience that he has gained over the years while working with various leading MFIs including Annapurna, makes him a first choice manager to lead such a vast state like Madhya Pradesh.
Mr. Subrat Sabyasachi Roy is the Senior Manager in Operations. He pursued his PGDM from EDII Ahmedabad, Gujarat. His more than a decade experience while working with ICICI foundation, Tata AIG Life-insurance and BASIX has provided him with an all-round experience in development and insurance sector. With these skills and experience of these sectors in the Microfinance Industry, he has gained an outlook that covers all the aspects of micro credit and micro insurance, which gives him a forte in understanding the scenario while increasing the portfolio. Mr. Roy is currently looking after the business expansion and operation in Bihar zone.
Joined as Branch Manager in 2006, he moved upto the rank of Area Manager in 2008 while establishing the branch network and overseeing the operations in the different parts of Odisha. He has time and again proven his commitment towards work and enduring passion to work for the betterment of the rural poor women over the years. He is currently responsible for streamlining the operations of each branch in Western Odisha Zone consisting about 40 branches, besides the process implementation in that zone.
Mr. S.A. Sabir leads the operations in Maharashtra Zone. He has been in the forefront of the company’s microfinance operations where his unwavering association with the company has been for about a decade now. His contributions in Annapurna’s expansion are more than words can define. He is the zonal head of Aurangabad region and has an additional charge of Nagpur Zone as well.
A banking and microfinance professional, has got tremendous hand in the microfinance operations. He was in forefront when the branches under Western Odisha Zone was increased from 5 in 2012 to 35 in 2016. Currently he oversees the operations in the state of Chhattisgarh.
A Management graduate from IIFM, Mr. Kemprai was previously handling the Nagpur zone. He has played an important role in establishing the company’s presence in the North-East, where he is currently heading the state of Assam.
Mr. Mohapatra currently in charge of operations in the state of Jharkhand. A versatile team player, he has worked in various roles as well in various capacities to take forward the vision of the company in multiple locations in the state of Odisha, before taking the role of team lead in Jharkhand. Mr. Mohapatra played a significant role in building the microfinance portfolio of the company in Odisha. He has more than a decade of experience in the microfinance industry while working with Annapurna.
Mr. Singh leads Annapurna’s microfinance operations in Rajasthan. He has been a banker at HDFC Bank, besides having prior proven experience in urban as well rural microfinance while working with Shikharfin and Cashpor respectively. Mr. Singh and his team’s role has been exceptional in establishing Annapurna’s outreach in this state. He holds a Masters’ Degree in Sociology.
